Building Workouts
- Deciding on Your
Muscle Building Workouts
Walking into a gym for the first time can be pretty
intimidating. Understandably so. I remembered clearly how I
felt when I first started my training in a gym. I was totally
lost. There was no one to provide any guidance to me. Everybody
is busy doing their training. I have no idea what exercise to
do, how should I do it, how many times should I do, how long
and how many days a week. I do not know where the heck I should
start. Does this sounds familiar?
This is a common mistake made by beginners. Most thought
that all you need to do is just going to a gym and do whatever
you fancy and for as long as you can. They completely ignored
the need to have a well planned workout routine.
Your gym workout can be complicated if you don't have a
clear cut exercise program. Upon entering the gym you should
have already gone over your specific lifting program in your
head. That way you know exactly what tasks you need to
complete. There should be no confusion. You should
have a solid plan of attack as you enter the gym. So the first
thing to do is to get ready you muscle building workout plan
before you even head over to the gym.
Your weight training schedule should
include the type of exercises that you would do, the number of

to build those muscle
Secondly, you need to determine the no. of times or
sets and reps that you need to perform to achieve optimal
results. This usually comes with experience and it may not
be easy for you to know exactly how to do it when you
are first starting out.
Did I hear you say "Well, I can always enlist the
help a personal couch to take care of this"
Of course you can! That is if you are prepared to pay the
price for a personal trainer in the gym. That would be ideal.
However, if you are starting out on a tight budget, then I
would strongly suggest that you get hold of one of
these recommended
books. Both provide you
with the necessary knowledge as well as online couching. It'll
only cost you a fraction of the cost if you were to engage a
personal trainer. A
